The innovative "Chamber Encounters" recipe which creates meaningful yet fun experiences for all the family

Pre Concert Children's Program

Young children (and their parents) are an integral part of the fabric of the Chamber Encounters audience. Before the main event, a fun and interactive short program of music is presented for all the family, combining beautiful music, relevant demonstrations and audience participation. A babysitting option in the play room is available for younger kids to allow parents and older siblings to attend the main concert. After the concert, kids can try out string instruments in an instrument "petting zoo" with "The Baltimore Bows" students.

The Chamber Encounters concert is a full experience for the heart and mind, body and soul. The programs are engaging and original, drawing creative relationships between different works of music, contemporary life, past and present. The artists engage with the audience to share in a personal manner their interpretation and connection to the music, through discussion, demonstration and other media. The music transforms from a historical artifact to a lively and dynamic energy between artists and audience. Good wine and food by local caterers is available, and the members of the audience can personally engage with the artists after the performance in a reception, to share their thoughts and experiences of the concert.
